Babyccino

ABC and Screen NSW have come on board with development funding to help the mememe team develop scripts, outlines and artwork for the beautifully devised concept by Tamsin Smyth and Matt Mooney.

The first workshop has taken place and the team are now in the process of writing music and scripts in time for Cate to take to Kidscreen in February.

Babyccino lives in a world of wonder beyond words - a pop-up forest full of shadows as well as friends, where a game of hide and seek becomes a journey of discovery, where hands speak a secret language, and where every day is a new adventure to be played, danced, drawn or knitted. Babyccino is curious and creative, clever and caring. He loves to help, and he always puts back what he takes from his forest home. His best friend bom-bom just wants to play, but sometimes the game doesn’t turn out the way he expects. There is always a surprise in store, something new to explore, and something for babyccino to draw in his special pop-up book. Plants and animals, music and dance, fun and giggles are all part of babyccino’s enchanted pop-up world.
